We are currently seeking people to join us in the following position for an early appointment:Development Officerto implement marketing strategies aimed to increase enrolment, coordinate the school's alumni relations programme and secure funding for the school's scholarship programme. The ideal candidate would be a East Afriacn citizen with good marketing experience. A proposed job description is available here.We expect to be seeking candidates for the following teaching positions from August 2009: Primary TeacherTo undertake the role of a primary classroom teacher on the Moshi Campus. Experience of the PYP would be a considerable advantage.French Teacheron the Moshi Campus to teach either French A or French B or both in both primary and secondary. Experience of at least one of the IB programmes (PYP, MYP or Diploma) will be a considerable advantage.Art TeacherTo teach Visual Arts to both IB Diploma and MYP students on the Moshi Campus. Previous Diploma or MYP experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.Physical Education Teacheron the Moshi Campus. To teach secondary classes from M1 (6th Grade) to M5. To coordinate and lead the afternoon sports programme on the campus. An ability to coordinate the Outdoor Pursuits programme will be desirable as would previous experience of the IB MYP programme.Boarding ParentWe expect to be seeking a boys' boarding parent for the school year 2009/10. This is a part-time position (40%) and could be combined with a 60% teaching position. The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working with school age students in a residential setting.English and Dramaon the Moshi Campus. We are seeking a secondary teacher who can teach both MYP English and Drama classes as well as some Diploma English. Previous experience in an IB programme would be preferable.Historyon the Moshi Campus to teach both MYP and Diploma classes.
