Moshi Primary News: 8 February 2008

  Dear Parents,

Today we had our 'Carnivaal Celebration and Procession' around the primary school led by Mr. Jones, and the M1 and M3 students. I would like to thank them for their wonderful efforts and for the carnival atmosphere their music accompaniment provided. The procession was followed by a Pot Luck Picnic at the swimming pool and the whole event was enjoyed by everyone who participated. I would like to thank everybody who came to school to enjoy the event with us.

Day Boarding

Next week there is a ‘Free Trial Week’ for the new Day Boarding programme. A sign-up sheet is attached for interested families to complete which needs to be returned to me by 8am on Monday February 11th.

P5/6 Residential Trip

The P5/6 residential trip to Magara will take place from Monday February 18th to Friday February 22nd. The students are very excited about this trip and we wish them an exciting and enjoyable week with the P5/6 students from Arusha campus.

Duka and Fizzy Drinks

Once again I would request that you do not send your child to school with fizzy drinks for morning snack time. In addition, I would also remind you that the primary students are not allowed to go to the Duka at morning snack time.

Magazines and Junk Materials

Ms. Rosi would be grateful if you could send in any junk materials and old magazines for the Kindergarten students to use in class.

Primary Class Contribution

Many thanks to Narelle and the P1/2 class for their contribution to this week's newsletter.

PYP Curriculum Corner

Ms. Rosi's Curriculum Corner newsletter is also attached for your information.

Kind regards
Kathy Slocombe
