Moshi Primary News: 21 March 2008

  Dear Parents,

I would like to start this newsletter by thanking everyone for a short but very busy second term.

Student-Led Conference Day - Thursday March 13th

The Student-Led Conference Day was a very successful day and I would like to thank everyone - students, parents, teachers and assistants - for their enthusiastic participation on the day.

Swimming Sports Day - Friday March 14th

Friday March 14th was our Moshi campus primary swimming sports day. Thanks to the spectators who came to cheer on the primary students. Many of the students who swam in these races will be participating in the Inter-School Swimming Gala on May 10th at 8am here on the Moshi Campus, so please book this date in your diary as your cheers and support will be needed on that day!

Day Boarding

I would like to remind you that there is a Day Boarding option available to parents and students from Monday to Friday during term time. More details are available if you would like them from Richard Eaton or myself.

Meeting for the Parents and Students of P6: Thursday April 10th at 1.30pm - Room 1

There will be a meeting for all the parents and students of P6 in my office at the time stated above to discuss the PYP Exhibition and the changes this will mean for the students from Monday April 21st next term. Please ensure that you attend the meeting.

Primary Class Contribution & PYP Curriculum Corner

Thank you to Ms. Rosi for the Kindergarten Page and the PYP Curriculum Corner, both of which contributions can be downloaded from here this week.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday and remember that school starts for the students at 7.30am on Tuesday April 8th. Boarders should return on April 7th.

Kind regards
Kathy Slocombe
