IGCSE Results 1991-2007

Our IGCSE Results in 2006 were our best ever.
The 2007 IGCSE results are even better!

With 87% of our students obtaining 5 Grade Cs or better, and 81% of our grades in the A*-C range, this year's results are very strong for a non-selective school with a full range of abilities. Congratulations to the S5 students of 2007 on both our campuses.
More detailed statistics of all our results since 1991 are shown below. Note that the results prior to 2002 were for Moshi Campus only.

(In 2007, 63.3% of UK students obtained grades A* to C, compared to 81% at ISM in 2007)

(A*=8, A=7, B=6, C=5, D=4, E=3, F=2, G=1)

IGCSE Grading System

IGCSE Examinations are graded from A to G with an A* being awarded to candidates who attain a distinction. Entries can be made at two levels, Extended and Core. Extended candidates are eligible for grades A* to E whilst Core candidates are only eligible for grades C to G. Candidates who fail to reach the necessary standard for the award of a grade are given a U.
