| International School Moshi has been taking students for field study in Pangani for many years and one significant portion of their study has been slavery in Tanzania. The house shown above is considered by many to have been owned by a wealthy slave trader in Pangani and is supposed to be a protected property. It is believed that many slaves may have been held in the house. Unfortunately, as these pictures show, there has been no protection of the house which has now collapsed well beyond any point of possible preservation. If you have other photos of this house taken before its collapse, particularly of the interior, please . |
